Race Day 3 April 2010 from 11.30am
The race day begins at 11.30 am, with the club providing finger food for an hour. A fashion parade by Shop 17, St George is featured, including her stall throughout the day. The fashions of the fields will follow the parade. The first race begins at 1:30pm and the last race is at 4:30pm. Bush poet, Gary Fogarty will entertain us in between races, as well as those of you keen for the prize money from the bush poets competition. The foot races will follow the last horse race. The bar, manned by St George Lions Club, runs all day.There will be a free giant slide for the children. Food is available all day and into the night as well as an icecream and a coffee van. A fireworks display after dark will be followed by a live band, who will keep you dancing until late. Breakfast will be available at the grounds Sunday morning from 8am.
